For reliable and professional jointing according to DIN 18340
The paper strip is adhered to the C- and U-profiles in the joint area when mounting the substructure.
Next, the acoustical sealant for acoustic decoupling is applied and the substructure is mounted. The strips are therefore immediately fixed at the correct place.
The gypsum plasterboard panels are mounted with a gap 3 to 4 mm wide or with the working edge mounted against the strips, and then the filler is applied to the gap.
Lastly, the protruding non-adhesive part of the paper strip is cut off.
Apply plaster to the Trennfix strip during plastering work.
After the plaster has dried, the protruding strip can be cut off.
As only 10 mm is adhesive, the protruding part of the paper strip can be easily and cleanly cut off after the filler has dried.
